The first building on The University of Texas at Tyler’s new 46-acre Palestine campus establishes a design precedent for BGKA’s recent master plan. Through a combination of materials, colors and massing, the new building seeks to combine elements of The University of Texas, UT Tyler, the City of Palestine, and the natural context to create its own unique identity.
This new building was designed to accommodate programs for nursing, health, business, and interdisciplinary studies. The building also incorporates sustainable design features that are appropriate to its beautiful, heavily-wooded northeast Texas site.
