With a mission to promote student success and community development by providing affordable access to higher education and workforce training, ACC recognizes that wrap around services are essential for students success. After the completion of Phase II (Building 2000), BGK helped ACC transform formerly shelled spaces within the Highland Campus into unique areas that promote student success and outreach by addressing the needs of the whole student.

The campus was lacking a designated Welcome Center to provide information and assistance to perspective and current students. BGK designed a new Welcome Center that houses various resources including a reception and waiting area, consultation spaces, administrative offices, break room/lounge, and a conference room.

Student success spaces also include a Student Care Center that provides free access to snacks, groceries, and necessities like diapers, easing the burdens of daily life so that students can focus on learning. BGK designed the adjacent Student Life Center to provide students a place to relax, socialize, and collaborate. Both spaces have helped strengthen the sense of community on campus.
