Including a variety of patient simulators and essential patient care equipment, the new state-of-the-art health sciences simulation center provides ACC with much needed additional facilities to support their growing health science programs. Primarily utilized by the Nursing programs, the 14,000 sf space provides students the opportunity to improve their critical thinking skills in combination with psychomotor skills and build self-confidence in a safe environment. The Regional Simulation Center within Highland Phase II includes Instructional spaces, two 10-bed Skills Labs, 8 Simulation Rooms including a specialized Labor & Delivery Lab, an Operating Room Simulation Suite, debrief rooms, storage, reception and office suite along with necessary support spaces.
